Btw are you showing any other wear? Only thing I'm showing is iron. Nothing else.

I have slightly high aluminum as well, but one of my heads is kinda fucked (ejected a spark plug, had to drill it out, tap it, helicoil, etc.) so I'm guessing that's where the Al is coming from.
My iron numbers are not as high as yours though. There are also a number of people (I'm sure you've seen) who are fairly skeptical about Blackstone reports, or any UOA for that matter. It may be a case of "take it with a grain of salt."
    Here are my UOA's

Awesome Dan. I'll try conv. @ 3K and move on to the rotella next. Might try a Dyson test for the next analysis.

I'd be nice if one us sc/turbo'd 1st gen guys starts a oil analysis thread. Not sure if it's warranted, with everything on the web. But I didn't find much about toyota's with this issue.

I'm a trim carpenter by trade. It was all done with woodworking tools. I might get some heavy construction paper and trace them all out, that way it could just get rolled up and shipped in a tube. With my current schedule it'll be 4-6 weeks before my next shop project.

Yeah I wonder how the two tests would compare. It would be good to have a discussion about this, but I don't think most people even bother with UOAs. The most information I could find was on bobistheoilguy, but I didn't see anyone with a SC'd tacoma specifically.

Supercharger life. Those numbers aren't excessively high honestly, its just the 3.4L is a low wearing engine. There is no timing chain and it operates where the engine is oftentmes lugged along (Under 2,000 RPM) as opposed to a high strung 4 or 3 cyl engine which needs to be at 4K regularly. Its also a 16 year old vehicle.

Picked up this '01 SR5 TRD yesterday after a 3 year sabbatical from 1st gens. Bought it cheap, knocking engine, so we'll be doing the swap soon.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
@TacoJohn4x4 came by the house yesterday to do his lift.

Productive day... Installed SPC UCAs, OME Nitrochargers, 881s, rear brake line... BUT... didn't get the rear leafs done.

I tell you what, I'm accustomed to Cali trucks. John's truck was a Colorado transplant to Cali. I need to make an apology to everyone I've seen on here bitching about the leaf bolts being siezed... I thought you were just pussys. But holy f'n shit, those things were rust welded like a sonofabitch. We ended up having to put the rear back together and wait till John gets the main (front) leaf bolts... he had new shackles, but we couldn't cut the front sping bolts because everyone local has to order them.

I've lifted (and lowered) a lot of vehicles in my garage over the years. Last night was the first time I had one drive away incomplete. Was pretty disappointing.

***EDIT... and a big thanks to @Sharkfrog and @foxrcing07 for showing up and helping us out!

Never had one of those oil tests done,I just basically do an oil change every 3k-4k miles.
Original engine ran 480,000 miles supercharged the whole time till a head gasket Popped.
Now at 570,000 with ALL supercharged miles on this truck,

Supercharger will not change the life of the 3.4 motor unless you run it lean.
570,000 all supercharged miles and counting

That level of Aluminum and Iron really isn't anything that would shorten engine life.

Drop bracket lift and booger welds
Usually we buy EVERYTHING needed to replace the whole setup because we know we will be cutting leaf spring bolts, u bolts, and torching leaf spring bushings.

Yeah it would be interesting to see what your wear numbers look like. I’m not concerned about my slightly elevated wear, just going to keep an eye on it occasionally as a diagnostic tool.

It’s $28 from Blackstone, it’s more expensive from Dyson but you supposedly get a more thorough analysis and commentary.

I've lifted Jeeps, Fords, Toyotas, Chevys... and lowered 3/4 of all the trucks in the local S10 club back in the early 00s... I've never had to cut a leaf spring bolt.

@Uphillshunter I had to cut mine as well, still running some Ace Hardware bolts up front, of course the greasable main eye bolts I ordered (once I read about the issue prior to my install) came in two days later than I needed the truck running.

I bet with the NA motors you’ll see right about the expected wear. That’s another good point though, my numbers and @License2Ill are being compared to universal averages which are mostly NA, when compared to other SC’d motors I wonder how they’d stack up.
