Good ol Oahu (sadly). But, free places to stay, and get to see some old college friends so it’ll be nice.

Should have gone to Maui or Kauai for a few days first then hopped over to Oahu. Didn’t think of that in time, but too late now. Will be a fun trip regardless

The current was insane too, do you have a shell on your truck? Saw a similar one parked over by 17th the other week

Current was insane! I went in the water at magnolia (just to jump in after a hike) and I just got swept down the beach. I made sure my girl was by my side the whole time so she didn’t get sucked out.

Negative on the shell. I think I’ve seen that same one though a few times. I just have 3 bed bars on right now
Oh I know it does. Used to surf it all the time when I lived there. And I can’t wait forpoke. We’re landig at about noon. We’re going straight to get poke and beer

Does anyone have a rack in the back of there truck with a cap? Im doing some brainstorming. All of my snowboards will fit in the drawers I make.

I have the premade carpet kit, best set up for boards so far and organization, but I don't have a need for drawers

Outer Banks (Nags Head) here, had a great 1st half of the summer, but been super small for weeks. 5'11" lost v2 sb, 5'11" lost driver, 5'10" AJW XSTUMP, 2 local shaped 5'10" SEEK surf designs by Jeff Cummings. a 9'0" GFG, and an 8'0" Wavestorm from Costco. all the shortboards sit nicely at the 45 degree in the DCSB. Had a 01' regular cab and an 08' access cab before this so the short bed took some getting used to, but i still get to be in a Taco with a baby seat in the back so I'll take it!

Hb is a rough paddle out when it's big. And it closes out when it gets too big, however I also saw a head high clean tube just north of the pier last week. Looked so good. 100-150 yard barrel.

I've started going to RJs (off brookhurst) because you can walk out 2/3 of the way. I'm actually heading out there shortly

It’s my go to lately. Got the state pass so I just park right up front. Makes it easy. And it’s only a mile from the house

Worth the money. I surf river jetties weekly, so that's $15 saved every week at least once. Me and the girl hike Crystal Cove a good amount too, so it gets used there. The pass has definitely paid for itself over and over and I havent even had it 6 months

Surfed the river jetties this morning. Solid chest high, barring waves. Super clean. Super fun. was my first time surfing my board since vacation. Only was able to surf once in Hawaii and it was on a board a bit too small for me.
