This. Not only is the price great, their service is second to none.

 

Well... I will say in 9 years of having them, I have only had 1 problem, and that was a month ago. USAA has been great and a vast improvement over any other bank, retirement, or insurance company I have invested in.

 

Unfortunately, last year they out priced themselves for us on auto and home. We stayed with them for a bit cause we liked them but it was to the point where they were raising rates again because "everyone in TX is" and swapping companies cut our annual Auto/Home in half... Tried to get them to try and get close so we could stay. They wouldn't budge a penny.

 

They raised your rates? Mine haven't changed since I got the truck.

Maybe they're assessing a "red-head tax" on y'all...

 

Nope not me yet, better keep my hat on I guess.

We got the "we're raising everyone's rates" spiel too many times. No tickets, no claims, no nothing from our end. Like I said, I like them and firmly believe that if we would've needed them, they'd have been there. But I couldn't justify their absurd prices they were gouging us with. We tried to deal for awhile, but didn't make financial sense.

TL;DR

If you can get a good quote from USAA -> Do eeet
