    Magnuson supercharger, 2.6 quick change pulley, 76mm throttle body, Doug thorley long tubes, urd y pipe, wot box with 2 step, 170 thermostat, airaid intake, urd short throw, djm 3/4
    i just installed the urd intake and there is so much room where the stock air box goes. i was thinking of trying to figure out an ice box to put there.

    I never said I couldn't do it and I havent even tried yet. But another thing is if you change your plugs every 25000 miles or so why not change sc oil. Yes you can do that easy enough with it installed but even easier with it removed.

    So I know it has been talked about before but with all this plug talk and changing the sc oil, what oil is everyone using? I know gm sells supercharger oil, but maybe there is something that is better. Or maybe it’s all the same, I do not know.

    I bought some Lucas supercharger oil. Just about the same price.

    Amazon I think had it. Think it's what kenne belle s/c uses.

    I got mine from JonBondPerformance. No idea if its it's the shizzy or snake oil but the sc is still turning.

    I do need to do that at some juncture. Change out the oil that is. Lol. Part of me does things the harder way because I like the challenge. :D

    Nah. You've just got to think laterally about it. I pulled the coils, drop in a socket, drop the extension on top, then crack the plug loose. Pull out the extension, disconnect it from the socket while holding the socket so you don't drop it, then pull out the socket. Take a piece of fuel line cut 10" long or so and pop it on the end of the plug, then back it the rest of the way out. You've got to remove the 2 supports on the side of the sc, but it can be done pretty easily without removing the whole shebang.
