Rear Lift Question

    I want to lift the front to 3" its at 2.5 right now...

    The thing is I have a 1" block in the rear. I was wanting to add-a-leaf. But is it going to make it higher having that 1" block? I don't want my rear to be 3" high. lol

    Or should I just buy the 1.5" rear block? Cause I want it to be leveled or have it a little Baja.

    If you are wanting to "add-a-leaf" and use the current block, then yes, it will make it higher than you have now. It will cause the rear of your truck to ride much harsher, due to the AAL.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    the block is what makes the ride harsh....if u get a 1.5" AAL, then thats all u'd need

    I'm sorry but I totally disagree. A block does NOT cause a harsh ride. I have used many of them over the years. Any time you install a aal with a positive arch you are going to have a harsh ride. ( firm) I notice A few members that always state that a block gives a bad ride. yes they can create axle wrap and yes there not for every application.........:cool:

    i ran a 2" block on my 07 tacoma and it rode like crap compared to my 09 w/ the AAL
