Got the TSB done today. The truck now rides like it has balls now. No more mooshy ride, the ride is much stiffer. The roads in Mass are by far in contention of being the worst. Even though the ride is stiffer the truck maintains control without the back end kicking out. Also tested on some common areas where my dakota would side step, the tacoma still doesnt kick out even with the stiffer ride.

the TRD Exhaust. 0-40 love it, the majority of the (rice burner) sound
acceleration getting on the highway, up to 70mph @4000 it lets you know its there. certain conditions it does sound like a civic on roids.
overall I am very please with the exhaust, $420 installed.

If your chassis is eligible I highly recommend it.
I put a 100 miles on the truck afte the TSB. You will definitely feel the difference in the stiffness going over bumps. Going around turn, off ramps and such, the truck doesnt feel like its rolling as much.

Some have difficulties getting a dealership to do the TSB.
I happen to know a toyota tech, drove up to the garage door, handed him the keys, in 90 minutes he had the new leafs and exhuast in and handing me my keys. Never saw the service desk.

I grew up in Mass, and I can tell you the roads in Louisiana are 2-3 times as bad.

Glad you like the new parts!

    Impossible......:D

I lived in the North, Mid atlantic region, South east, and north west.
Honestly I can't believe there is any road worse than up here.

At least you have a vehicle that can endure it.

I live in TX, so luckily I don't have to deal with the LA roads too often. You'd be amazed.....

TSB won't be "done" unless you take it in for service. In my experience with the TSB my local dealer gave me a hard time because they wanted me to bring it loaded, so they can "inspect". F that! I had to go to my original dealer without a load but did state,"when hauling my bikes, it feels very unsafe because it bottoms out"'. No problem we'll check it out, order your parts and give you a rental while we perform repairs.

Is TSB the same as AAL?? I'm looking to do the bilstiens set at 1.75 on my fronts and an aal in the back. Is this the same deal?? I'm a rookie so chime in with any knowledge. Thanks

Nope, not the same. AAL is a leaf you add to your exsisting leafpack, TSB is a service performed by Toyota under warranty that replaces the original leafpack with another one, stronger/better and gives you a little bit of a lift. No saggy ass or bottoming out. Also search, there is plenty of info regarding TSB's
