This poll is focused on your opinion of throttle map and shift points after the TSB-0062-18 tune, in terms of drivability. It is not supposed to determine if Toyota addressed a glitch with the original tune that caused a surge or stumble. Most posters on the forum seem to seeking out this TSB tune to address drivability issues. Also, based on multiple confirmations on TW, we will assume that TSB-0062-18 and TSB-0058-18 apply the same ECU file.

    Same here.

Can't overstate how much better 04B13 is compared to 04B10.

Definitely better throttle response and smoother shifting. My fuel mileage is about the same, but I have been heavy on the pedal. Just my opinion, TSB is a improvement over original tune.

Huge improvement for me, this is how the truck should have came in the first place. I just can't understand how it took Toyota so long to fix this. Toyota should issue a Special Service Campaign to cover this rather than the TSBs.

Stock suspension, stock wheels, stock bumper, stock, stock, stock, dammit!
I keep forgetting to check the mpg, but me and my truck are definitely bonding! When I need to gitty up, it goes! It does burn gas more than my old truck, though, I think.

Surprisingly few naysayers or indifferent votes. Maybe Toyota really put some research into this update?? It does beg the question why it is not a “blanket update” if it is just better all around. Would certainly be a win for Toyota to have folk stop hating on the AT. Otherwise the truck seems very well received, admired, and possibly loved.

Read a post from an MT owner claiming that his truck felt underpowered pulling some hills in 4th gear @55mph. Any truth to this statement?

As another mt owner, until this update this vehicle was sadly a v6 pickup, the update helped quite a bit but should've been a lot more.. this truck should have come from factory with this tune, I went from a 2017 auto to a 2018 manual because it was so bad, with very but noticeable difference. All in all I am glad that I was able to get the update but still annoyed that it was so little...

I'm just waiting on 1.05 91 to get my torque back. 04B13 is damn good IMO, but OVtune has the extra go in the midrange. I DO miss that lol.

    Acceleration is better for sure.
Overall cruising at 60-70mph is still just as bad with hunting for gears and constant shifting.
