It sounds like you are good to go.

If you are just launching the first time using the CUW file, you will most likely get a Retry notice as it will be looking for a connection. You just have pick the Tactrix connection over the default one.

Yeah. I got a little sporty about the situation. It was easy and the brick thread hadn't happened yet.

Totally. Anytime you have something shipped up here it takes forever. Keep checking the tracking in hopes it will change:). Pretty funny how I’ve been dealing with this issue and considered it normal. Was fine with it but always annoyed me. Now I can hardly wait for the update. This forum is draining my bank account:) but this time I can totally justify the purchase!

Just took it on a longer drive after the update up the mountain. Drives a lot better! Held 70 mph a lot smoother and climbed the mountain a lot better. Drive up the mountain has very sharp turns that require down shift to 2nd. Before the update this turns would leave me so bogged down in 2nd the damn truck would take forever to recover and gain speed and rpms back up. Now it’s a lot quicker to pull out of the turns and back to cruising speed. I’m running an inch taller tire and before the update was pretty much garbage going up the mountain. Now it’s better than it was with stock size tires.
Still a little room for improvement. It’d be interesting to see what orange virus can do with this pretty good base line. Never had his tune yet but have been tempted. Now that I have the download cable it’s not as much to buy at once if improvements can be made.
My mpg’s seemed to improve by 1-1.5 I’m pretty much back to my mpgs before the bigger tires. Those put a good 1-2 mpg hit.
Pretty content with the truck the way it is now!

Well, confirmed fedex pickup of the cable being shipped. Hopefully early next week arrival. Will be another 04B10 relegated to the recycle bin shortly.

    Edit:

You don't have the cable yet? I thought those were your own screenshots? If not, my apologies!

Once that far, it would have been impossible for me to stop.

Ya they were my shots. I just clicked on the file to make sure it was loaded and those screens popped up. Just trying to be all set and have as much knowledge before it gets here.

I seem to recall that we need to download the drivers from the tactrix website...but I'm going to wait to see what comes with the shipment.

Others could chime in if the tactrix came with drivers on disc or was a download requirement
