I'm the last person that will endorse multiple use machines. I'm also the last person to endorse TIG welding. I can think of very few opportunities to TIG weld on our Toyota's. If you want to TIG weld, get a TIG machine. If you want to MIG weld, get a MIG welding machine.

MIG welding has so many uses. I'm very good MIG welder, but I don't have enough time to master TIG welding.

These are my thought and opinions. YMMV

I'm the last person that would want to buy a used welder. I know a few people who've had good results buying used ones, but I know quite a few that have gotten properly rooted in the wrong way.

Oh, shit! I'm sorry, I thought that was a MIG welding machine. I take back my endorsement. It is not really a good machine for welding on Tacoma's.

    Skip it.

    Sorry again.

The HF welders are now a game changers. These are very high quality that have a warranty that is better than Miller, Lincoln or Hobart.

These are so good that I predict that they will force the price of the big three to start to be more competitive.

Yep. Buddy of mine bought one after he asked me to check it out. Just looking at the quality while in the store convinced me that it was a good unit. At that time I had not used one, but was so sure it was a good unit I okayed the purchase.

I wish these were available when I was starting out. I could have bought 3 of these for the 1 Miller I have.

There are tons of YT vids on these as well. All are very positive.

33x12.5x15 and I want to know just how that is fitting when I can't go larger than 265/75/16 without cutting and hammering away. WTF. Doesn't look like he did any trimming at all. just those aftermarket flares which I guess could cover up any modding but the plastic in the wheel well sure does appear to be OE.
