Time and effort. BTW, I didn’t sell it to them directly, but worked a deal with a guy I know who is one of the guys who started NWS and Now runs another dealer. Complex deal but I ended up getting $22k plus a $1700 discount on the tax on my new car plus the car tabs were $600 instead of $1300 which worked out to about $24k for the truck total.

 

Surprising since I know they paid $22k to my friend for the truck. Maybe they are thinking quick turn around.

2k for a detail job, basically. That thing is gonna sell itself, and pretty quick.

 

Trust me the v6 is plenty of power. In sport mode is so squirrelly it’s almost undriveable. Can’t imagine what the 700 hp track hawk is like.

Yeah, so I can go from 6” ground clearance to 10.5”in about 45 sec with my air suspension so no to arb. Won’t fit my truck anyway.
Also rear and center locker!

 

Well that's pretty awesome.

 

Forgot it also kneels all the way to wheels inside the wheel wells in park mode for us old folk.

Seriously, it is a very capable suv but still an suv not a highly modified truck. I’m looking forward to seeing what it will do. With a buddy. With a winch.
Has full underbody skid plates. About 1/4” thick.

Is it the same v6 as the ram 1500?

Prolly not I’m too much of an asshole for them. My loathing is for Jeep owners and drivers not for the vehicles themselves. Too many of them don’t know how to drive. They buy a Jeep and think they are bullet proof.
If Toyota made a truck with this much capability and tech for a reasonable price they would own the market but for $85k and low tech the land sruiser just doesn’t measure up.

 

Looks like fun but I might have to do some adjustments sooner than later and nice truck

Probably is. I test drove a ram with the v6 and 8 speed, I was slightly impressed.

 

ok, ok, you ARE correct - it isn't the vehicle it IS the d-bag behind the wheel (similar to the clueless Prius drivers or Lexus RX 350 drivers).
