Hey everyone. First post on this thread. I bought a '95 4R with the intention of mildly building / resto-modding it, but after a year of investments in it, it's kind of just sitting in the driveway because I lost A/C and the windshield washer fluid function (not sure if pump or cracked reservoir, haven't done a pressure test).

Why I'm writing: I'm stuck somewhere between "sell it, you don't use it" and "throw a bunch of money into this thing."
Has anyone been in a similar situation before? Did you re-find the passion? Did you sell?

    Any words of advice help.

Most everyone will tell you to sell it because... 2nd gen. I have had the same thoughtsIMAG0177_1.jpg
That is until @ramonortiz55 sucked me in with group buys on suspension and snorkel and now it's part of the "family" and even though its gutless I love it

I love it when you order a passenger side caliper at Napa and they give you a driver side and you don't realize until the truck is taken apart and the store is closed... Always check your parts and part numbers. Never underestimate how incompetent someone can be...

Got the correct caliper this morning and installed it before work. Finally have brakes that keep me straight. I replaced the driver side a couple months ago because it was dragging a little bit. That didn't fix the pull when braking, but the driver side would still get really hot coming down hills, compared to the passenger side. So I replaced that one. The inner Pistons were siezed open, so only the outside brake pad was moving on that side, causing the excessive heat on the driver side as well as the driver side pull.

The inner Pistons were really rusty for being only 3 or 4 years old and not being in a salty state. They have about 100k miles, but miles shouldn't contribute to corrosion.

Welding stock sheet metal sucks. Does this look ok?
Basically just plating junctions after Welding the 2 cores together.

I have refused to accept 2 deliveries from Lowes in the past month because they keep trying to send me a white microwave instead of stainless.

Last min trail to Monache Meadows this weekend should be fun. Haven’t been in years.

No just another factory one for now. I am sick of having 13 gallon tank.
