Yes it fits, the hvac controls having different wiring so they would need to be rewired. the 4wd switch is a drop in piece though. and i just ordered a 4wd switch from the 12-15 model but some people do the hilux switch because it can be illuminated but will need a custom trim ring and will have to be glued in.

 

Theres my install in my 2006, ended up swapping wheels in from the 12+ which i think look way better.

@CQB 1911 I have a few silver ones on watch list and it came up as a similar item. I had been searching for a while too and bought a black piece locally. It’s so expensive buying new from the dealership.

Question - Did last year of regular cabs come with black kick plates and door sill protectors? Found what they call cowl trim which are the kickpanels in black....L = 6211204070C0, R = 6211104050C0 but not finding scuff plates/sill protectors ending in C0 or designated as reg cab. I would think the 2014 or 2015 reg cab 4x4 would have these or even the 2wd reg cabs those last years. I'm talking about the plastic that hides wiring and connects trim in fr and rr of door down on threshold of door. Not the stickers that go on painted surface inside door jam.

 

Hey all, I have combed through this thread and would really like to update my interior, but I have 2 questions.

1) Is Jordan still taking orders? It appears several people have been attempting to contact him with no luck. Additionally, the original website used to order the parts from him is down. Does anyone have an update on his status?

2) For those of you who have swapped out the bezel for the LOWER a/c controls (the one surrounding the three climate control knobs below the clock/hazard button) with the matte black instead of the black pearl, such as @nudavinci64 and @JadedTaco, are these OEM parts? If so, do you happen to have the part number for them? I scoured this thread and though a few people have asked this question there was never an actual response with a part number.

So far, from what I have found, it looks as though Boch Toyota offers the best prices online (if Jordan is no longer available). All my local stealerships offer full MSRP so that's a no-go for me. I worry about ordering items online simply based on part numbers in the event they are not the exact ones listed, but it seems almost everyone has had good luck so far with receiving the correct matte black parts based on the part numbers listed in this thread.

Thanks to all those involved in this thread from pricing to part numbers to install pics and write-ups (especially @Cativelense and @nazlax10). I'm looking to getting this done once I can get my hands on the parts!

 

Not sure if Jordan is still around to be honest. Haven't really had to reach out to him since I purchased my parts. If you found a good price somewhere, I'd say go for it. Most places that I reached out to wouldn't even budge, and then Jordan was able to help.

As far as the matte pc that has the climate control knobs, I think the matte is an aftermarket part, I think... But I'll let those two guys confirm though. I may be interested in getting myself one as well.

the matte black is the basic SR trim. Its also not a panel, you need to replace the entire unit. It ended up being a bonus for me. I had to replace my unit as I broke one of the switches and the one I picked up off ebay was matte black. In looking it up its the from the bottom basic tacoma trim

 

Thanks for your response. I did some research on some Toyota parts websites and noticed the part appeared to be the entire unit and cost around $500 to purchase. I was hoping I was looking at the wrong part but it seems I might have had the right one after all. I'll keep an eye on TW and eBay in case one pops up for a good price. I cant recall but he posted up on a thread while ago. Not sure which one it was but from what I recall he moved onto a different position outside of the parts group. Its probably safe to say this deal is dead.

 

yah Ebay is where to go. I needed to replace and yah its bank. You can get used ones for $80 which is what I did. New will be at least $200-$300 on ebay too. Check LQK inventory. They are a big reseller of parts and where I scored my first updated head unit and the matte climate control.
