Yeah I would love the style with side opening windows too, would be way more convenient, I hate having to crawl in to grab stuff out of the front. The decreased visibility sucks too especially offroad, but worth it to keep shit dry

 

I used to be the king of the ugly shell...

 

Mine did have the windoors which is super nice

 

Ive never had my shell of so im completely use to it lol

We talked about those trailer beds @Sperrunner lol. And I do believe I got a lead on one.

 

It's cool but soooo over kill and over priced

 

The ones that pop up are nice for the space but i hate the look

Um, yeah, no. It looks way too busy. I like simplicity. Besides, all those CNC cut panels would just make it stupid expensive.

Most of our trucks are overkill to be honest. It's just a matter of how far are you willing to go until it's not a tacoma anymore lol

 

Snug top? Idk there is no markings except like one little one on the only side window that pops out a little and that says snug top

 

I don't like em at all really, why own a truck if it's gonna be as impractical as an SUV without any of the comfort. I gave that cap to a former GF to have as a makeshift chicken coop, probably the best use for it

 

I didn’t mean like that One. But something like it that’s tall and maybe extend over the cab as well

 

I leave stuff in my bed all the time so its nice to have a shell

 

That's why I leave mine off until it's pissing rain every day

 

I wouldn't trust a shell at all for theft protection

 

So far it works. But normally its nothing in there thats worth stealing.
Like the cvs and diff are back there still lol

 

Least it's better than a rag torn cloth top like my 5 ton lol
