Do you know where Hoffman Archery is? It’s only 15 mins from Cabelas in Gainesville if that’s where you are going? They have plenty of bows and are knowledgeable. Plus they have used Mathews and stuff and normally have really good deals.

Yep. They have an area to shoot inside but a big area to shoot stuff outside. Farran (probably spelling it wrong) knows me well. I haven’t been there in a while, but he is a good guy. He is one of the owners. If you stop by there tell him Tedric says hi.

I would at least swing by there if you have time and see if they have a deal on something. Cabela’s has great stuff too but they aren’t going to be as knowledgeable on the little stuff for each bow.

Go TRY some bows at either places, then shop around on Craigslist or Archery Talk classifieds. My buddy got a killer deal on an Elite bow from Archery Talk.

Been reading a little about it. Not sure if I need it or not. I've been fletching arrows on my Bitz since 2000. First it was ACC's, then Axist ST's and now Carbon Express Red Maxima's. Never a problem. Anybody else have feedback?

I found out about them watching John Dudley fletch. He seems to like them, but if what you got works then why fix it?

I think they just make the job a little easier from what I'm seeing.

Ok, so this is good to get most of your fletch off, but no so good at the final hard glue bits.

So, new arrow fly's great. Smooth and also quiet. More than with the Blazers. Kinda took me by surprise.

Built that when I got home. Getting better. Got the wrap perfect.

Its really more like roulette, I get to hunt but really dont get anything early. I usually end up getting my deer in Oct or Nov. We only get one tag so I try to hold out for a nice buck, but they usually elude me. I do get nice pics though ;) Im more a meat hunter though.
