Yeah I figure as much based on the specs, I just wanted to make 100% sure because seeing what looks like 12 gauge on the lights kinda threw me for a loop.

    Going thru the switchpro.

    Workin' on it....
Each of those switches on a SwitchPro (at least 8100) is rated at 18 amps each and 30 amps if you combine 4 & 8.

Glad you figured it out. Our XL, OnX6, S8, and LP9 Series use 12 gauge wiring. Squadron and S2 use 16 gauge.

    Morning Bailey,

I recently purchased the S2 Pro, Pair, LED Wide Cornering, Flush, Backup Kit (SKU#: 487807) for my new bumper and had a question about the wiring harness. The directions that come with it mentions like yellows wires and sorts which the harness I received do not have, which is no big deal, i can figure it out. But I have a 3 weather pack connectors on this harness. The 2 at the end of the harness plug into each light, but there is another one towards the front that is like 12" long that comes right off the relay. What is that one for? I have attached a couple of picks.

Also, I was going to wire it to separate switch inside the cab, but was wondering if I could just wire it directly to my reverse lights via the trailer plug if I just tap into that harness? Would that be acceptable to do and not use any of that harness supplied with the lights?

    Thx in advance

    Good morning!

The connector near the relay is another positive lead. You can use it for another accessory or leave unplugged.
We wouldn't recommend tapping into the trailer wiring unless you use the relay. Instead of a switch you can use the reverse light wires as the trigger.

Thanks for the info. I will run it to a separate switch. I will just cap off the 3rd plug

I finally got around to mounting up my lights and realized I'm now equipped with the sampler platter of Baja pods: S2 Sport wide cornering on the ditch light mounts, Squadron Sport Amber combos up front, and XL Sport Spots dead center.

At this point I'm not sure if I should try to squeeze that extra set of squadrons in, or roll with it as is. Outboard of the ambers the bar starts to follow the bumper line before the grille does so I have very close clearance...

Also Baja, dammit why did you change the thread pitch on the XL fasteners? Here I am with my stock of snake-bite M6 security bolts that work on my S2 and Squadrons and I realize you've up and switched to 1/4-20 bolts! :annoyed:
Gonna watch my truck like a hawk until those come in!
