    If the fronts didn't come tinted from the factory, yep illegal. Rear windows though, as dark as you want.

    true, I just had to get the front removed. But it sucked the root big time...had to spend all day in traffic court just to show them a receipt I got from the tint company to get them removed. Pasadena cops don't mess around FYI

    Surprised, I always figured have any officer sign off that it had been resolved and then you just remit that as proof.

    Can't piss off those Rose Bowl parade officers... :ballchain:

    yeah you can only have it here if it came on your car from the factory. Also I think there's a new law where you can get window tint aftermarket if you have a medical reason for it and a doc note to prove it.

    Funny though that there are tint shops everywhere and everyone has it done on their vehicles...99% of the time cops don't care. Every now and then though you might get harassed for it, especially if they're looking for a reason to check you out.

    That pic is not my truck but mine is the same. I'm not able to get to mine atm so I barrowed a pic from the other thread. I found the guy that makes them on MUD (https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/3rd-gen-4runner-and-tacoma-cup-holders.869465/) and pointed it out to my wife. She bought it for me as a gift. I'm not sure where she bought it. The guy that makes them has a few different versions. The only real issue I have with it is I can't move the passenger seat all the way forward. He makes a 1 cup version that solves that but I'd rather have the one I have.

    @Wju I don't have a J-shift.

    yeah Pasadena is known for making people go to court for tickets and traffic violations. I had to go in for an illegal u-turn ticket once as well, spent nearly the whole day there. Don't break traffic laws in Pasadena lol.

    Already told you. Reinforce it a bit and Turn it into a spit grill. Fab some leg supports and a hinged side for easy cleanup... Excellent to wheel out for the next mod day.

    if you have two shifters for 4wheel drive, you are winning lol

    That is super clean. Do you still activate the 4wd with the push button? Guess I gotta look closer at your build page.

    Anybody looking for a tube bender?

    Pull as much tension as you can with that, then smack the side of the knuckle with a heavy sledge. It will come off, might have to do it a few times.

    Why so desperate to avoid heat?

    I would throw the pitman arm tool on there, give it some tension, and heat the TRE. It should pop off.

    The other option is to grind/cut it off, but heating it will take like 30 seconds vs a 20+ minute grind job.

    hairspray + lighter = win

    Probably wouldn't get anywhere near hot enough but would look cool for the gram

    edit: don't actually try this, I don't want the next picture you post to be from the ER lol.
