You know, that's a great idea.

Friend of mine just bought a 2018, so it's definitely worth a shot!

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
I love the pandora app through Entune --when it WAS working - I can't get mine to work --this has been going on for the last 3-4 weeks. It has nothing to do with the tsb -- mine was failing before I had that TSB done.
I like the idea of trying it on another truck!!??
Has anyone called the Entune support line on this?

Have you tried changing the audio quality setting? In the entune app on your phone click on pandora and towards the bottom should be a cell network audio quality toggle. I'd switch it and see if that helps.

Has anyone tried connecting through USB to see if there's a difference?

Last time I tried, mine was working. But it's been a few days.

The last time this issue arised was when Toyota stated that they were having entune issues.

The more I read the happier I am I have the cheap SR5 headunit.

Never a single problem out of that one.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!

NO difference --still shows the same error(s)
Reason why I like the pandora (or used to when it worked) was that thru the entune --it showed all my pandora "stations" (picked favs) on the radio screen. I could switch without going to the phone.

Mine was on --turning it off loses the "Bluetooth connection " all together.
Oh well it was worth a try. I may go over to my dealer today and ask to set in a new Tacoma and see if the Entune Pandora app works on that truck.
This would definitely pin the trouble on "Entune" --where I think it is.

I started using Pandora a couple of months ago in my truck and loved it so much I was thinking about getting rid of XM radio. Now with the connectivity issue I'm going to keep XM. I believe an Entune update could fix the problem.

I have both a taco and sienna...both with jbl and entune. I get that error on both my vehicles occasionally.

That would be nice but it appears that the latest software update to the Entune operating system was way back in Sept 2017. Toyota appears to not want to put much $ into IT support.
