Buddy of mine is trying his hand at spear hunting them this winter. Tried to last winter but grossly underestimated the amount of practice needed haha

My friend and I need to get in on this hog thing. I can set you on Elk in Colorado I have hunted many different units. Some of my good friends are guides on the Western Slope.

That looks like a SB shell. I saw it on FB and you advertised it as a SB there.

 

Unless you got a hook up for out of state tags being cheap CO is one of the most expensive out of state tags to get. Plus I think you have to go with a guide that may have been WY. I get confused with them all as an elk and moose are on my bucket lists. I enter the NH lottery every yr. since we have a ton of land up there.

Where are you at in NC I am about an hr from Uwharrie.

@Mudtime4me and Aaron if ya'll want to do a hog hunt locally I've been told there is some hogs on the Caswell county game lands, around the corner from you Aaron. Also I know for a fact there are a bunch in the eastern and southern parts of the state.

You are correct about advertising. When I bought it orginally I was told it was for a SB, so I advertised it that way without putting a tape on it. After a buyer came to my house today and we put it on his truck, we realised it was for a LB unfortunately.

It's my fault for trusting someone and not verifying before advertising it. It does in fact fit a long bed. I'll be happy to put a tape on it in the morning and upload a picture. It fit the rails of the bed just stuck out to far.

 

Ah got ya well that sucks to have a buyer then you put it on and it's not right.

 

Yes it did. Not just for me, but both of us. He was pumped to get it. I'll update the post with a picture of a tape going across the rail part of the shell. I know it came off a 2008 DC and appreantly a LB.

 

Oh just FYI it will not fit a reg cab the DC and AC have a different shape and the caps for them will hit a reg cab.
