Kinetic rope looks awesome. Know of a strap for under $50

It did. You pull the bumper, pull the aluminum spacers between the frame and bumper, bolt the recovery bar to the frame, and mount the bumper to the recovery bar. The recovery bar takes the place of the spacers. You may need to do a bit of dremel work to get the grill bezel to fit.

Yes, I have the tow package with coolers.

The winch and cradle were my Dad's old one when he sold his truck.

Just the carrier and wiring: https://www.warn.com/winch-mount-95xp-26370
    Complete kit: https://www.warn.com/zeon-8-synthetic-mm-winch-90330

There are cheaper versions available from different companies.

I bought the heftiest kinetic rope they had and it's probably overkill. This comes pretty close to your requirement. I would not drop below 3/4inch.

I advise never to go cheap on recovery gear and overkill is always better. Recovery means that the trip has gone south and you don't want to fight or struggle with inadequate gear when your truck (and in some cases your life) depend on it.

It’s rated up to a 10,000 lb winch and has a tongue weight max of 500 lbs. it’ll handle the same as a plate bumper would.

Yes agree. When I was solo I went cheap and luckily got by. Now with small kids I dont want to have to walk out.

So on my ORoad there is a passenger side large hook and small hook. Driver side has a loop, is this the delivery/transport point (not to be used for anything like towing etc.)?

Looks like my Offroad hook attaches with 2 bolts? The arb looks to use those 2, another next to it, and 2 more up on the actual frame?

I have seen that hook bend straight when being used as a recovery point. You need to get something that you can use with a d-ring shackle.

I don't know much about it but I read if using a running start to recover you should be using a kinetic strap. It did show a jeep bumper tear off and hit a guy because they were using a static strap.
