    Hi All.

Not sure if the right place to ask. But didn’t k kw where to start.
I have noticed that Toyota (maybe most makers) have a lot of TSB’s vs recalls.
So far. At least with the the 3rd gens. It seems like most of this TSB’s should be recalls and not TSB’s.
To me. The difference is that on a recall. Toyota is admiting that they screwed up. On a TSB.. they’re counting on us the consumer. To either not notice or not care enough or just plainly not have the time or be able to get into the service department. To avoid repair and at the same time admittance of guilt.
2 examples; the last software update. That I believe fixed what most of 3rd gen owners have complained about. And all .3rd gens need. I mean.. before it .. my truck had 2 settings .. retard mode and ecm mode.
When I called for it. My vin wasn’t even included. They did it. And is like driving a brand new truck. How can someone not want this?
2nd.. the bird under the hood.. who wants their trucks with the extra noice on top of the noice? And again. My vin wasn’t there.
On this one.. my part got order today. So hopefully by Tuesday.. my pet bird will be dead... lol.
And again... all 3rd gens should be getting this newer model of the stupid high pressure fuel pump. .... or is it me?

Blower motor could mean not being able to see during icy, snowy conditions. Thus making it a safety issue.

I’ll go with that. But the last ecm uodate wasn’t just any performance annoyance.
That right there should have been a recall. I almost crash more that once because of the unresponsivines of things like pushing the gas... and the thing wouldn’t move for a split second.
Some times.. that split second makes all the difference.
Because I know is coming... this is my 4th Tacoma. I expect it to ride... like a Tacoma!

Doesn’t this mostly have something to do with the NHTSA? Complaints - investigation - recall.
