Must have been looking at the kilo-pascals scale on the gauge.

Yeah gated parking garbages stopped people before. I should know I had a car stolen out of one.

Yeah, a little story from long ago... I knew this old guy who was working building maintenance for a property management company. He once said to me "You know why the building i work at has a security gate? It's because they NEED to have a security gate!"

Gates don't stop people, it only makes getting in mildly inconvenient. I would also add like it or not some of your neighbors might be scum bag enough to steal from you or they hang around scum bags.

exactly. Gates are there because they've had a problem and they are not stopping anyone who wants in. Well... except for maybe these two

Is that those 4Runner wheels? Funny you mention over inflated tires. When I had my rims swapped, I left the shop thinking they messed with my brakes, like it just felt wierd compared to when I dropped it off. I figured they adjusted the rear drums and left it at that. Few hours later, just for giggles I check the pressure, 45-50 pounds in each tire. No wonder the brakes felt funny, not enough rubber was making contact with the road! Let them down to 35 psi and all was well and good.

Also, at the tire place today to get those crummy tires off my new 4Runner wheels, I witnessed a lady drop $70 for an oil change on her Rav4. I get that its full synthetic and all, but dang. The same Valvoline stuff they put in her car is on sale at Napa $27 for 5 qts. I should start doing more oil changes for people I know, could make an easy $100 in a weekend.

I'm at $23 sometimes $20 if I catch the sales at Napa . Dino juice for me. Synthetic isnt worth the money in an older motor in my opinion.

My truck was never under 6 feet of water either. Previous owner left all his oil change reciepts for me so I know this truck has never gone more than 6k without a change. Castrol 5w-30 ultraclean is what I prefer, but Napa puts their store brand (Valvoline) on sale $12.99 for 5qts sometimes. Can't pass that up.

Actually, and maybe this is why they put 60psi in - I took the truck in with the 4Runner wheels/KO2s on the truck. Had my SR5 wheels in the back which had the bridgestone tires on. Asked them to basically de-mount the bridgestone and put the BFGs on the SR5 wheels leaving the bridgestone tires and the 4Runner wheels loose.

I want to do those 4Runner wheels right so figure no tire on will make it easier. Bridgestone still have 1/2 tread left so those will probably end up on CL. Once I finish the 4Runner wheels, I'll order new tires.

yeah, I guess I made them work. Hell, paid for it though so wth

You decide on a color? Hopefully gonna sell my old wheels tomorrow which should pay for about 2/3 of the cost to get the 4Runner wheels powdercoated. Shouldnt be long after I get back in a job until they get done.

You live in a land where they want to make fossil fuels illegal. I live in a free state. Check Home Depot for their prices. I get Castrol there for $17 and change.
