THANK YOU or the pictures! I've got a similar Access Cab MGM (but OR). I've been waiting to get some from Mobtown for sometime. Quality built stuff by what seem to be great people. The only delay has been other things that I'm adding coming up in group buys. I missed the latest Mobtown group buy.

Please don't take this the wrong way, as I'm genuinely glad you like your sliders. But.............I think your pictures have convinced me that Mobtown sliders are no longer for me. I'm SURE it's my imagination, but it seems to me the they have, over a period of time, "grown" - out.

Even if the current versions do not extend further than they used to (I'm probably crazy), these stick too far out for me. So your pictures have been very helpful. As pictured, I've no doubt they are effective as steps as well as protection from trees and doors. I wish I could get the exact angle on some 20 degree ones. Or better yet, lived in an area that I could check them out first hand.

Please don't mind me though - enjoy! We all have different needs and tastes. I would however like to hear from others who perhaps installed these sliders a bit ago. Any agreement with my un-scientific, non-first hand "observation"? I'd ask you to measure, but I don't know which dimension to refer to so that anyone comparing would be sure to measure the same thing.

I have mobtown sliders on my truck (though it's a double cab) and they look about the same. Mine don't have the kickout. They stick out farther when you make them flat, at a 20 degree angle they wouldn't be sticking out near as much.

I'm sure someone has pics of them with the standard 20 degree angle.

I know. Banned by @4x4Runner. Been here long enough to probably know why from reading his replies but not my business. Was just trying to word it less harsh I guess...lol :hattip:

Haven’t done it yet but I decided, today, to switch things up.
Switching to the grey Fuel Vectors 17x9 with -12 offset, BFG k02s 285/70/17 and bilstein 5100s. Everything is on order and will be installed next week.

You might consider these that I have, they are "WHITE KNUCKLE OFF ROAD" . Some what reasonable price but they WORK and 15% up angle to boot! Got some pictures to go with the thought.

SDHQ. They charge $600-$700. Trust me. You can buy your own and do it for $50 and just an hour or two of your time.

Got my plate in tonight and since AZ has about 200 different plate options I ordered a new one to support our first responders. At least they donate $17 of the $25 plate fee to a corresponding charity

I did not, but did see opportunities where they could have occurred. I started at the center and used my thumb to press it down in a spiraling motion. This worked fairly well until I got to the edges and it started to wrinkle a bit. At this point, I concentrated more on the peaks of the wrinkles rather than the valleys and continued to work the peaks towards the edges. Using the tabs to pull the film helped on the peaks close to the tabs. I had to lift the.film a couple of times and pull when the peaks were too high to press down without a wrinkle. Hope that helps.
