Just purchased my first Tacoma yesterday up in Cicero, NY just north of Syracuse. Long drive from home near the PA border but well worth it. Anyone else in here from around the Southern Tier / Finger Lakes area? Binghamton, Elmira, Ithaca, Watkins Glen, etc.?

 

Nice truck man, really like the look of the SR5 long bed. Good choice looking into Drivers Village, I drove almost 4 hours south into PA for mine!

 

Thanks! Yeah, I cross shopped every dealer within 3 hours of my house, lots of PA dealers near Scranton.

I think the SR5 retains some of the “classic” pickup truck kind of aesthetic. A little more chrome, softer body lines on the hood and fenders, etc.

Everyone who's still going, besides @Sub_Par and @mightytacoman, post up in the morning to confirm you're definitely coming. Want to make sure we're going to be waiting for everyone we need to wait for.

Again, anyone who's going to be traveling through Utica, a handful of us are meeting at Bass Pro at 8:30am to travel up Route 12. Feel free to join us.

I've semi-planned a ~40-50 mile route that will take us on a lot of heavily wooded roads on Tug Hill with the occasional water crossing and mud hole. Hopefully we can find some rock obstacles to conquer too. It's been 7+ years since I've ridden up there so some guess work and exploring will probably be involved. Should be a fun day all around.
