Certainly counts as boring. Pedal like crazy, scenery never changes.

I'm sure it does. But an exercise bike suffers from the same problem that a treadmill does. The only way I can make it more than 20 minutes on the treadmill during the winter is if I pop a movie in to distract myself with, lol.

Yeah I feel the same way for the most part. The live instructors help with the distraction. I also have no desire to ride on a road or mountain, but see appeal of it from an exercise persepective so this fits the bill.

    NBPT?

    This was at Larz Anderson.

Can I get an unbiased opinion of whether or not I was an @sshat here?

Countertop guys came, and they were two younger guys that weren’t exactly friendly. I noticed them checking out the wife’s Jeep before they started working which wasn’t a huge deal but then saw them start to do the block out the sun to look inside on the driver’s side. Again wasn’t a big deal as they were walking between the Jeep and my truck. Then saw the two of them talking and they walked to the passenger side and started looking in and doing the sun block thing.

I finally went out and asked if I could help them. They scurried away mumbling they liked the wheels on it. I don’t mind them checking it out but it seemed oddly shady to me. Had they said hey we like the Jeep and were thinking about buying one I would have opened it up and let them check it out but it just felt weird.

    Am I a terrible person?

Nope. That's some shady shit, and you never know who's supplementing their income with a little 'moonlighting' (IE- working by moonlight).
Honestly if it'd been me witnessing that behavior around one of my vehicles I'd probably have clipped an OWB holster on before I went out and asked them if I could help them, as a flashing neon sign saying "not worth it"

But, I don't live in Mass, so I don't have to be subtle. :D

Not at all. That’s would have gotten my spidey sense going also. That’s pretty shady to go around looking in people’s windows, you just don’t do shit like that.

Is it a manual trans, maybe they had never seen one before. I would have definitely made sure they knew I was seeing their odd behavior.

I know, I know, but I needed a half ton.
Finally got the sliders sand blasted! Has anyone used bed liner on theirs? Going back and forth between that and painting them again.

Last I knew, we don't have a law against open carry, but the law against brandishing a weapon/firearm is pretty tight. So would depend on how they took it. There's stories of people getting in trouble just for having their pistol showing. Now it might be up to the discretion of whoever responds, but I don't want to chance it, since my guns and job depend on maintaining my LTC

When we did our group buy from BAMF I think we all rattle can bed liner them. I know I did, good chemical cleaning to remove oils, I used a 3m scruff pad, cleaned again, self etching primer and the the bedliner. I liked it cause it was easy to touch up and it gave a little texture to the finish.

If it's secured in your holster on your belt, it can't be considered brandishing no matter how they take it. At least in Maine. Not sure about in MA, but if they'd call having a holstered firearm on your belt on your own property 'brandishing' then that's some pretty strong BS that your AG is shoveling. :notsure:

So from what I was told by a mass state trooper was that even implying that you are carrying a weapon to another individual during a confrontation is at a minimum breach of peace. In Massachusetts there’s no obligation to conceal however I was told you’re better off concealing because it’s like carrying a steak on your belt while walking through a forest filled with liberal bears.

Here in westfield a guy was at the sportsman club and then went to big y afterwards. While his weapon was concealed he reached on the top shelf for an item and his weapon was partially exposed. A lady called the cops on him and the police responded to big y. When speaking to the cops they told him it could be a fine for breach of peace but they didn’t serve him with that. Instead they told him you’re better off not carrying at all.
