Who the fuck buys a used battery?? The hobo grade batteries at real parts stores are like $70 with a $20 core, are they that much cheaper? If they are, where the fuck is the profit in stealing them... because you know those used battery people are gonna pay pennies on the dollar.

Well whatever man, hope you find the scumbags. Really strange that battery theft is such a thing out here.

Also to the accusations of me ganking lead acid batteries...
Psh, as if I would use lead acid instead of lithium for maxxxxxxx weight reduction.

 

Trying to decide if I should make ceviche or carne asada for dinner.
Ceviche would be either shrimp or trigger fish.
Carne asada would be marinated ranchera, homemade salsa (green, red, or roasted red), guacamole with pico de gallo.
It's going to be a good Saturday!

 

Don’t worry man, I know it wasn’t you. I’m just beyond pissed that someone did this. I despise thievery. Lowlife scumbags. I have no tolerance for these sorts of things. There is one battery that they didn’t take because it was squeezed in a little tighter than the rest. Weaklings. I really want to find them and have a conversation with them. Hopefully one of these used battery places rolls over on them and I get that opportunity.

Try out arrachera. Best carne asada we’ve had. Only place I know of to get it a tiny carneseria near 7th ave & Hatcher. Ghetto as hell but best meat to grill

 

Thanks buddy. You are in Glendale as well, so be careful if you leave anything out. Talking with folks around here, one of my neighbors had 5 pallets of batteries stolen last week, and another had 7 buses robbed of their batteries. I sent my mechanic to a few of the places where they buy used batteries this morning, and I called some of the others. $500 is a lot of money to get me someone’s name and address. Luckily the batteries all have stickers with our codes on them. If they are not smart enough to remove them (judging from the theft, they may not be) we will know if they are ours. Fingers crossed and with a little luck, maybe we will be able to sit down with these guys.

That's a bit of a drive from chandler, but I'll remember that place and check it out some other time.
Looks like the kids want carne asada so I'm off to 48th st and southern to buy what I need.

Maybe I'll make ceviche Tuesday or Wednesday.
