Yes old great wise one :bananadead: this stuff is fun. I asked westmarine about the other jack it's on it's way from Alaska. Christie picked up the 3/16 for a backer for me. The jacks are solid

Married since 1984? I'm getting married in November, what's your best advice?

BTW- I don't think I've said it yet but I love this build! I'm not in a place financially to even be looking at a trailer but one day I will. We tent camp all the time and love it. I hope I have an awesome trailer like you one day!

Thanks. No,we were married in 1987 have been together since 1984. The semester Nile best thing I’ve ever done.

Advice? First marriage is work sometimes hard work but worth every ounce of energy. Be honest with each other. Deffinately be willing to compromise. Sometimes you’ll need to just bit your tongue and let her have her way. Understand she’s usually always right, at least to her. Enter your marriage as a team and continuethat way work together and I promise you’ll accomplish more and easier.

It’s not complicated it just takes a little effort. I kiss my wife every morning and tell her I love her every morning as I leave. Once she asked me why and I told her first I love you, second I don’t know I’m going to make it home, and third if I don’t make it happen me I want that to be the last thing you heard from me.

    Good luck and congrats!

The camper is a blast. 17 years of leading Girl Scouts and my time in the service I’ve tent camped enough. Especially with some health issues we bought the camper and what fun it is to camp with and mod

Thanks for the advice. I've already learned that being wrong isn't a bad thing and typically its easier to accept things than to try to win or be right.

I'm in Texas so we don't have great camping weather from about mid- April through September. It is just too damn hot! I mostly want a camper of some sort for the AC so we can sleep without feeling like we went swimming!

Great advice Chris! Having been married since 91 I will agree with this statement. Marriage is work and you must be a two member team with no one coming in between, not parents, in laws, children, or friends. Stand by each other's side through thick and thin, say I Love You when you part, when you see her again and before you go to sleep. You'll get into arguments but once the air cools apologize for the argument whether you're right or wrong and say I Love You again, and let it drop. Marriage is work but it truly is the best job you'll ever have.

This goes along with what Chris said. But ya'll need to be a team financially. Even though I've never been married I've seen pretty much every single one of my friends marriages end over finances. They tried to treat their financial obligations like they were still single. It didn't work out that way. I've become financially free so to speak by going through Dave Ramsey's financial peace course and it's lifted a great burden off of me to become debt free. He's got several folks that work with him with things like investing, marriage, teaching kids financial responsibility etc. I'd suggest looking into some of them. Remember also look at successful marriages like Chirs' and others and take from their successes and failures learn and tweak to fit you and your fiance's lifestyle. Communication if you are mad, upset, sad whatever talk to your wife. Don't let things get to a point where it boils over in anger (this can be good advice not just for marriages though).

Nice, could you install it onsite? Doesn't sound like it will be very much work for you.
