Just had my clutch pedal assembly and springs changed due to creaking. I've noticed that when I start it I have to basically push the pedal all the way to the ground plus a little to get it to start... I'm assuming the free play needs to be adjusted?

There is a clutch safety switch to keep you from starting the truck in gear, not sure if that is adjustable or not though.

I got under there to look. The clutch pedal has a plate that comes in contact with the switch... I suppose I could bend that plate forward a bit so it comes in contact sooner or tape a rubber stopper or something to the plate..
