Hey maybe we could put together a TT kit!? I have a questionably rebuilt CT20 hanging around.

How do you figure? That's the point in uninstalling and re-flashing back to stock.. Has not 1 single person with this tune eventually uninstalled and sold the kit? @OVTune

You can sell the kit, but no one has sold any licenses except Mat. There have been a handful of OVTune kits for sale on the 3rd gen marketplace, all of them had their original license applied to the truck. The folks who buy the used kits, have to buy the license for the tune for 325 from his site as well.

The 1GR net ~200 hp at ~8 psi. I imagine with a properly matched set, it will be somewhere similar.

Was that at the flywheel or the tires? Because you need to take off about 20% to get the approximate power at the wheels

Which is why I can't wait for the 1.05 power maps, hopefully the rumors are true and this truck will have power output on par with it's competetors

Seeing as it won't be carb compliant. For those of us in Commiefornia, can we buy it as "Off road use only?" Or do we have to have it shipped outside CA?

I highly doubt that'll be carb compliant out the gate either.

Pretty sure all their OEM superchargers are carb compliant. Their newly released supercharger for the 4runner is CARB compliant.
Edit- its just a matter of when the hell will they release it. I rather have twin turbos because of the support and custom tuning

Mat says he wants to be able to run full e85 on high boost with the twin turbos for a race truck :p

On this topic, I wonder if anyone with more E85 experience than me can chime in. Is there any advantage power-wise for the N/A guys to step into the E85 game? All the E85 stuff that I've come across has been for boosted cars.

    *******Serious Question******
I love the twin turbo idea.
I would only get it for cool factor and bragging rights since i don't tow and 4wheeling in low range you don't need more power.
How will twin turbos act when 4wheeling in low range for hours. Would i end up watching the temp guage or anything?

I think that any incremental increase in HP at the flywheel will translate to essentially the same numerical increase at the wheels. No need to deduct an additional nominal 20%, as the scavenged losses are a one-time deal, already accounted for. While not precisely true, a 100 or 200 HP increase at the flywheel will be a 100 or 200 HP increase at the wheels. Conversely, a 100 or 200 HP increase measured at the wheels will translate to 100 or 200 HP at the flywheel. Very minor additional loss between the engine and wheels, because it's not like the turbos appreciatively increased the running gear losses. I think.

Possibly, if it was tuned for it, E85 has octane rating over 100. Think the pump I used when I had a flex fuel F-150 was 105. However it’s less energy dense so fuel economy goes down but it’s significantly cheaper than even regular 87 gas.
