^ I thought the clamps were only needed but you need that metal bed rail piece and due to the odd size in length, shipping cost jumps up. lol.

Still a decent deal but it went from a great find to just a good deal. Maybe it's beyond my budget, time, and the fact it now has a rip/tear.

Yeah, I’m with you. After a quick phone call parts are about $150 on top of the purchase price.

Those two metal bed rails is what drives the price up and the shipping! Don't forget all the nuts, bolts, and little things as well. It adds up quickly and beyond my budget on a used softopper. That silver metal railing on top of the oem black plastic. Check picture below to see the needed railings.

 

If it's the one from RAD, I already spoke with him. He has someone interested in them, for now.

Looks like a replaceable part being that its bolted on.

 

Anyone in SoCal have a 2nd or 3rd gen truck bed sleeping platform they no longer use? I would be interested in taking it off your hands, let me know what you have!

 

Hi all-
I'm looking for a camper shell for a 2017 DCSB in Orange County. My truck is Magnetic Grey Metallic, which I know are hard to find second-hand, but am open to any color that might work for it.

I don't have enough posts to get on the buy/sell/trade forum, but need to find a shell so that I can transport items from Socal to Washington for my son's cancer treatment.

If anyone has seen anything on recent Craigslist forums or otherwise has a lead on something, please let me know.

I bought a snugtop tonneau cover for my old tacoma and my are shell from that dealer. I live right around the corner.

 

There's a place in Huntington Beach that makes super sick custom ones. A tad pricey ($600-$700) but they're super high quality with a lot of storage. Check out his facebook page
