I'd expect the lugs to break off before bending a steel rim. Ha.

In my case it was an aluminum rim. 120+ft/lbs was enough to deform the rim.

I get the cat clamp thing for Cali guys, your cats are expensive. The ones for the rest of us enjoying our freedoms in other states cost like $65 for a nice high flow one like I put on the cruiser. That thing is just hideous and ain't gonna protect shit anyway. I could have it off with bolt cutters and a sawzall faster than you could unchain it the right way.

Oh here’s the parking spot next to me I was talking about that’s totally ridiculous for that car. It’s not a Mini Cooper, but it’s the same size.

The parking spot is pretty deep.

Likely cooked in fryer oil that hasn't been changed in awhile, because they think they can filter their way out of shitty used up oil

My roommate rebuilt his STI engine two times, and replaced the engine another two times.

He put in forged connected rods and pistons, and he was driving normally one day and one of the pistons exited laterally through the block.

Here’s one of the pistons. Keep in mind this is FORGED!

So his definition of driving "normally" is Fast and Furious style I presume?

    TL;DR of this thread:

California is an evil state, and everything that has come out of it is the worst thing known to man.
