It may not look like much was done, but trust me, it was a spaghetti factory of wires in there.

Back to it? Take luck amigo.

You’re experience/accident scared me straight. Although to be honest I’ve never been much of a motorcyclist. Got hit on a bicycle once and that was enough for me.

I may have tweaked a few things...
That’s easy you have just enough diagonal length to lay it across the tepiu, over the roof rack, and tie the end to rest over the snorkel :D

Hear hear. I was thinking the CHP needs unmarked cars with cams rigged on the interior aimed outward and slightly forward so they can snake up, snap them pull over and arrest immediately for distracted driving. I coudl get ten every day at least. The studied have shown the effect is the same as driving DUI. The masses need a strong message and a punch in the pocket book.

I will say, from so-cal here and visiting for the weekend, way more distracted drivers here than LA. Suprising actually since Los Angeles is pretty notorious for it's terrible drivers

This is what I deal with every day. Besides all the cell phone fuckwits, Sac is a serious melting pot, from Indian, to Russian, to the more typical latin american and Pacific rim..

    That spells T H I R D W O R L D.

They seriously need to give these people a first-world reality check. Follow the rules and pull your head out. That what makes the first world first. If you want world class plumbing, straighten up and fly right.

A punch in the pocket book doesn't matter.

Many years ago, some lawmaker ran down a motorcyclist killing him. He got his wrist slapped. Prior to his sentencing, I wrote the judge recommending he be sentenced to a motorcycle safety class and made to ride everywhere he went for a period so he could know what we deal with every day. He didn't even get more than time served.

I say give motorcyclists helmet cams. As you split, make sure you get the plate and all the way in the front window. Turn the camera in and let those fuckers get their surprise in the mail.

But at the same time, don't split lanes at 60+ if traffic is stop and go. Watched a guy smack a stopped car this past Monday morning at 5 a.m. in hercules.
