i appreciate the humor with this. But I suspect that the reign of the tacoma is near. With the chevy and ford both having legitimate contenders now. Tacoma basically had free reign for 8-10 years.

Ha! Ford. You're funny, or do they come with spare transmissions now?

They made a good rear diff...

Now if we're talking an old high boy with a straight six sure. Does anybody give you 6.5:1 in a production vehicle in 2018?

Kia, and their parent company Hyundai vehicles do hold up pretty well during a crash. They also earn good crash ratings from the institutions.

I still am not in the market for one.

It's like the Tacoma is today's Ford Escocrt. I see the same amount of Tacomas on the road as I did Ford Escorts 20 years ago.

There are plans for one, I think. The concept pictures made it look like kind of an El Camino-looking thing.

I see more Subaru's and Tacoma's in places that need 4 wheel drive in my area of North Carolina.
On the Outer Banks I have not seen 1 Colorado or Ranger that is from the last 6 or 7 years really.
The styling on both are sooo much like the Tacoma it is obvious who the leader is and who is playing catch up.

Have you ever seen a Toyota commercial where they compare any Toyota to what is available from Kia, Huyndia or even Ford???
Think about it... Camry vs. Fusion
Camry vs. Malibu Camry vs. Sorento

Its true i watched the filming of it. Although they mention no sway bar and more agressive tires on it. It made it, but had some pretty good damage to the plastic bumpers.
