Haven’t welded in over ten years but it’s a start!!! I sprayed everything down with undercoating even the pinch welds I banged back. I know I’m not the greatest welder, but IDGAF, it’s my truck and I’m happy with it.

A little something every chance we get.
Modified a little bit, did the mechanical install for a Flex-a-Lite electric fan replacement to replace a failing clutch fan. Wiring it up tomorrow, thanks to help I got on this forum!20180825_125148.jpg

It does - and that (other than it being 103 in the driveway) is what slowed me down today. But, I was planning on 2 days anyway. The controller wants power, and an always on connection to run the fan in cool down when you turn off, AND, a fan clutch switch connection. Which was easier said that done. But, I got advise on how to get it at the fuse block - of course removed. I will be posting pictures. I'm using the Flex-a-Lite Controller.

I’d like to see more pictures.
I had flexilites on a 2002 f150 the controller failed on me, it fried. Hope technology has gotten better.

I do take step by step pix - because it gives me a break time! I will post back to this thread with all. I have not been great at adding pictures, so it may end up an album - but I will link. The controller is electromagnetic (relay - thermostat - hardwire thermocouple). I do NOT do offroad (other than the beach or a field), so my comments probably won't apply to the heavy duty users - but I fully expect it to function properly when well installed. (Solid joints, shrink, etc).

Much appreciated, man! Not sure what you mean by WS.. Did you mean backspace? Haha

EDIT: Now I have a feeling you mean wheel spacer. It's the 1.25" spacer by Spidertrax :D offset on the wheels is +9 so the spacers got me to -22 offset.

Thanks! I only go to a well known tires/alignment shop here that I always go for all my cars to so I was there when they did my alignment. I asked them to zero out my toe and camber while giving me as much positive caster as possible with the stock LCA(also stock UCAs). They did just that, toe and camber at 0 +/- 0.01 degrees and my caster is at 1.6 degrees with stock parts. Should be able to get more caster should I decide to bite the bullet and get some UCA's.

Do the door skins man, like the most outer part of the door thru the inside. Makes a massive difference. I'm spraying some after I take my headliner out. If u gona do it do it all the way.

Can I get away with removing the door inner, in order to have access to the door skin?

Hmm I'm not sure. The Amazon page only says that install instruction are provided upon purchase. They are either 1 piece that slides over the handle, or a piece your wrap around the handle and attach.

That's what I did, and it worked perfect, u don't have to pull the module cause it's very tight, just move to one side to access the blue wire, cut, ground, done, no more stupid light, 06 DCSB prerunner.
