    Flipping through the myriad choices of cynical, saccharine, computer enhanced Pixar et al. "kids" movies on whatever streaming service we have for too long tonight. Eventually just got tired of browsing and (kind of) randomly picked The Black Stallion, much to the underwhelming reaction from my kids. Two hours later and we're all much happier for the ride. No virtue-signaling, no instructions on how react, no agendas. A rare, rewarding experience.

    Damn, I miss 70's movies!
