True. It’s not really that big in a extra cab. But still 400$ for one is pretty crazy, ill just wait till it gets old and price comes down some lol

I want it hidden in the panels, not a box in the back seats

You have an Xtra cab? I saw a setup where some guy put the sub in the back where the jack goes, or the one on the passenger side because it's a little bigger. Was a clean install

Alright so I've got a pretty bad brake pull going on when I hit the brakes relatively hard...it pulls right. Been going on for a little while and thought maybe it was the alignment but that's good. Definitely something with the brakes. Every morning when they're cold they make a lot of noise too which I've attributed to them not having been "bed in" properly when installed 6 months ago but now I'm wondering if maybe I've got a caliper issue.

How would I go about checking on the health of a brake caliper? Aside from doing the Tundra swap...that'll happen someday.

Might slide a 8" sub under the passenger seat. It won't sound like my old lowered chevy with 6000 watts and 4 15's, but it'll be a improvement

    All hoses are fine?
Was the caliper bleed fully? Could one be stuck?

SS brake lines I put in maybe 4 months ago. They look fine...system was bled when I installed them. My brother and I bled the brakes the old fashioned way for probably 30 min but we were kind of rushed since the SS lines took longer to install than we planned. Maybe I should go back and re bleed the system again and take more time with it?

There was a TW member that was having a similiar problem. He un plugged his ABS module and it went away.

Pop the wheel off and give it a once over. Take a green scrubby and brake clean and hit the rotor and rebed the brakes.

Yep I have ABS. I'm not hitting them hard enough to activate it though. Just a good solid press of the brake and I can feel it pull right.

    Worth a shot re bleeding.
Or possibly a metal hard line is smashed? (Doubt it)

Also maybe a warped rotor? I would check pads for uneven wear

Yeah I'd be surprised if the metal line was bad already and I haven't really done any hard wheeling lately but I'll check them over just in case.

Pads and rotors are new but I never bed them in because I didn't know about that process at the time. Gonna do what @lucky13don suggested and clean the rotors/re-bed the brakes today if I can. If that doesn't work I'll pick up one of those bleeder kits and try to fully bleed the system.

Ah good to know...if the re-bedding doesn't work I'll give that a try thanks

Day old rotors can warp if they get hot the cold fast.

And to bed in breaks the “right” way is kinda scary, requires you doing like 50 then hard stops to 10 and repeat. Lots of people ik just drive it normally but never come to a full stop to not transfer material onto the rotors
