I want to hit up Pismo again but I'm going to wait until Fall or winter most likely...I've only been one time but it was in late August of 2016 and it was so crowded it was hard to enjoy it...was like a giant frat party. You guys camping out there or staying somewhere else?

 

You seen that short u-bolt thread too? Crazy stuff man...guy was cruising around for a few days with short u-bolts to where the nut was only halfway threaded onto the bolt.

Im trying to get there. I think I know what road I need to take.

 

Not familiar with them...the dunes were fun but the beach camping sucked because of how crowded it was. Hundreds if not thousands of people all crammed onto the beach partying until 4am...felt like I was on Isla Vista during Halloween weekend. Then there were a bunch of stuck 2wd guys in the dunes with street tires and we spent half the day trying to pull them back to camp but eventually just gave up on trying to help everyone.

There's that massive military tow truck that cruises around there, we talked to him about trying to help a 2wd Dodge Ram with bald tires get back to camp and he said his fee starts at $500 lol. Bet he makes a pretty good living out there doing that though with how many people there are.
