Stock tray comes out. The bracket is made by Pelfrey, which has a new tray included.

I went with a 27F and new tray and it was like 55 pounds too. Anything is better than the stock 2nd gen 4 cylinder 24F that Toyota cheaped out on that struggled and died at 18k miles.

Was at dealership yesterday for first service. Asked at the parts counter about the 27F and was told it was an option on the 3rd gen. Was never informed of this at the time of purchase. :notsure:

This was an Odyssey 31M. It weighed 78 pounds. At least that’s what Fed Ex said.

It was put in all 2nd gen trucks with the V6 and tow package and I assure you that the 27F from Toyota would be overpriced with less amps than the ones you can buy elsewhere. My DEKA was on sale for $135 and is one of the best rated batteries under $200. Cannot touch that price for the amps at your local part stores. It is all I need in a street 2 wheel drive truck. The tray was around $35 at the dealer.

Paintless Dent Repair could easily fix 90+% of this damage. If repair is coming out of your pocket I would see what they could do before ordering a new fender. It might not be perfect on the bodyline again, but way cheaper than buying a new fender if you can live with that one little bit being less than perfect.

Upgraded the stock cheesy speakers with kickers, thanks to @LawTaco this morning we knocked all 6 speakers out in about an hour and half.

Sounds way better, definitely suggest this upgrade if you like your music loud and crisp!

SmityBuilt Beaver Step and center console tray was also a small touch for today’s project. Happy with the small progress on the taco, looking forward to my next taco project!

Just changed mine out yesterday at 35k and it was a mess. Not to mention it was installed upside down.:frusty: Normal replacement is every 20k according to the maintenance schedule so either the dealership screwed it up or it came from the factory wrong.

I’ll check to see, on his eBay store he puts the truck color beside the vinyl color. I think it’s called medium gray. It’s a perfect match to cement though.
