Beef jerkey but also smoking some coffee beans in the foil pan
Will let them cool, grind and brew in a percolator to make coffee.

excellent. smoked for an hour using Hickory. i'd go at least 1 1/2 hours next time, and do a littler finer grind than coarse. turned out great. neighbours tried it as well.

gonna be doing this on a regular basis now whether in the digital smoker or on my weber.

    Interesting concept smoked/baked coffee.

To have a comparison, what do you consider great commercial coffee?

Yeah that would be cool. Maybe add some pure kona in every so often. Different countries would be cool too.

I thought I saw that Mountain Air, in Asheville, NC, did that. But, I do not find it on his site.
I have not. I roast or I buy ^^^ His roasts.
I got the pack of 10.
    Convenience .. Good.
Amount of cup .. 8 oz.
Weight of coffee and paper .. 16.5 grams
    Taste .. Like old coffee

Overall .. I am not going to do that again. YMMV
I am waiting to try some from Idylwild Roasters in Idylwild, California. They do a similar personal packet.
I have no idea how good/bad White Castle is.
I would compost a roast I did if it tasted baked. :)

For a subscription service this would guarantee that you would be getting a selection of the finest coffees in the world. Roasted by one of the premier roasters. Price is not outrageous when you factor in that shipping is included.

I’ve wanted to try them and support them, but all their adds they pour milk/cream/sugar in to their coffee. Which to me is a complete turnoff, signifying their coffee sucks and needs the lousy flavor to be masked. I could be wrong about the coffee, but I won’t be trying any unless it’s given to me by someone else.

I like my coffee to taste like coffee, a splash of creamer and one packet of RAW sugar and I’m a happy guy! I’m no coffee snob and I’m sure there is much better quality beans with a much more enhanced flavor.

I like what them fellas are all about, I have no problem supporting their cause as long as they continue to put out great coffee.

I’m putting a order in tonight or tomorrow, jump on their site and let me know if one catches your eye. I’ll order ya a bag and ship it to you when it arrives.
