Fished there a long time ago (pre-98) with my dad, sister, and then girlfriend. We caught about 8 or 10, all within about 30-45 minutes. Everyone else around the lake didn't catch jack. We started to get some attention since it's a pretty small lake and we're over there making smartass comments like, "I'm getting bored."

On the way out, some guy asked my dad what he was using. Dude went to the store the next day and still didn't catch anything.

Not enough to have a build thread.
MET and Wentworth Springs are both paved roads, just not plowed in the winter

The only one I saw fully had the adipose fin. Those are clipped for planters. I'm baffled.

We did the back road to Bodie this weekend. Found some really cool mines, saw lots of wildlife (including a few wild horses) and did some fishing. Incredible area all the way around.

I can remember doing that road in 2013 on our rental car rally. That year I was in a ‘vert mustang. High clearance road my ass...

When we did it yesterday after leaving Bodie, it was fairly easy. A few parts of the trail were super bumpy and washed out, but nothing crazy. I was shocked to see only one other person on that entire road when we took it, considering how busy Bodie was. The more technical trails we hit were closer to the Chemung mine area on the other side of Bridgeport.
