Behind the grille mounts should look like this:

I used the center mounting hole for the pro grille.

I used 1.5 inch square tube steel as spacers between the mounts and truck body ... so 1.5 inches lower nothing drastic but better than stock. Had to be creative on the front most mount as it is different than the other 2. used the 1.5 square tube for one bolt at an angle like the other 2 mounts and a scrap piece of steel for the other bolt that is on the flat part of the mount....think it was around an inch. Also had to drill a hole for the flat mount bolt on the front bracket.
That is much more confusing than it is if you look at the mounts...

Good job. I love clean wiring. Did similar after work today but not on Taco. Old old system needed some terminal cleaning. Good to go for another 20yrs. Lol

I did some extremely exhaustive research on RTT's and narrowed it down to the CVT Mt. Shasta, Tepui Kukenam, and the Smittybilt Overlander. All are great tents. Fortunately, I have friends that own those three tents and was able to check them out in person as well. Aside from some very minor (IMO) differences, they are essentially the same except the price. I am very happy with my choice!

I had a busy weekend! Got a lift, new tires and rims, leather, raptor lights, blacked out the head lights. I added the universal switch from S-Tech. Now I gotta plug in all the lights. The wire hanging out of the dash was the switch for my anytime rear view camera. I’m relocating it to the center dash next the the start button. Funs over.
Time to get back to work.

I bought some OEM door sill protectors and plan to install them this week. I Googled and only found one decent video on the install procedures. Does anyone have any pics of their installed OEM protectors? I’m especially interested in seeing the front ones because the guy on the video seems to install them a bit far back. I know I can put them anywhere I want but I’d like to have them look as close to stock as possible. Thanks!

I did some maintenance on some previous mods.

My cousin kicked out my passenger under dash lighting awhile back and I just got around to replacing. I shoulda done sooner, but I thought it would be harder. I guess since I created it, I know how to fix it. Whodathunkit?

I also had a short on my ground wire for my dash cam. I initially blamed it on the 12V->5V converter and bought a second. It worked, then didn't. I brought the 1st one inside and was playing with it on a 9V battery and it worked. Knew then that something was fishy. Checked for resistance and it was zero instead of one. Replaced the wire and zipped everything back together. Moved it to an always on fuse as I want my phone and the cam to remain on at all times. Let's see how that works.

Also, took out two more bed bolts and painted. Installed two other ones and put tie downs with them under the bed mat. Should help with those awkward loads.

Maybe a little help. The M on passenger side is in line with the passenger seat frame bolt.
