One of these days I'm going to have you build my office desk.

I've always wanted to use one of those wheels.

Goo Gone works because it uses hydrocarbon, which breaks the non-polar bonds of the adhesive. However, it leaves behind residue and is detrimental to paint and finish if the area is not washed immediately afterwards.

Isopropyl alcohol does the same by dissolving those non-polar bonds but evaporates quickly. It's arguably better because of the lack of residue, like what is left behind by hydrocarbons. Thats why isopropyl alcohol is used to clean electronics: high efficacy and no residue. The key is to use a high purity isopropyl alcohol for maximum effectiveness.

Wow. Wonder why it's sold in smaller canisters and and fails to maintain even dispersion.

It ended up just being a battery terminal that I thought I fixed but I guess I didn't
