It's a long email so not going to yet to post from my phone, but the fine print says it was sent to me because my camper was currently in production. So- that's actually only a handful right now. And yota- if yours is done that would explain why you didn't get it.

Mine is listed as in production and I didn't get it. Not in spam or junk folder either. I have previously gotten them.

Ok well there goes my theory... Posting the message content below, and hopefully they're cool with that.

    Production Update

I am sending this to you guys to keep you informed on some of the recent bad news/good news that is affecting production right now. Let's start with the tough stuff before moving on to the awesome stuff:

    1. Bed panel materials:
We have had ongoing issues obtaining bed panel material on time, and have had multiple delays on obtaining the correct size for the XL campers, stalling production for the XLs. Our new amazing project manager has swooped in and managed to negotiate a contract of monthly shipments going forward to completely eliminate this problem, however the initial shipment that arrived early last week was damaged during shipping. They have a rush replacement shipment for us that is arriving this week.

When this new batch of bed panel material arrives, we will be able to very quickly complete many of the campers that have been marked as "In production" for some time, as this was the last piece of the puzzle for final assembly.

    2. Extrusion for the Utility Tracks and tent frames
Similar to the above, we recently ran into a shortage on extrusion material. The material has now arrived, we were able to quickly process it and send it off to powder coating, where currently we have about 20 tents worth of extrusion being powder coated as we speak. This issue is now resolved and our project manager has secured larger monthly shipments for this supplier as well. He is also making sure that all campers that are otherwise ready for assembly (except for the bed panel material as explained above) are being expedited at the powder coater.

    3. Shop news and steps towards our increased production goals
We have recently acquired the building across from us to effectively almost double our workspace. Fabric Town has moved to the new, large space, leaving more room for metal work in the original building. We also have more room to store campers during production and once completed. There's even a bit of office space for our customer service and order management team (I moved in to the new space 2 days ago!)

In addition to the increased space, we have hired on a few new employees, bringing the team total to 14, and we're not stopping there! We still have a few shop positions open. When we complete this round of hiring and get everyone trained, we will be several steps closer to our goal of doubling our production capacity.
All of us here at GFC have been working non-stop to resolve all these frustrating setbacks and delays, and to come up with better solutions. We really do want to get you guys out camping in your GFC as soon as possible.

We've come a very long way since Go Fast Campers first launched less than a year ago. It's hard to believe we've already hit 245 camper orders. Yes, that's right, two hundred and forty five.

We believe in our product and we are so grateful to have gotten such incredible support for our customers. You are one of the early supporters of a fast growing company- a phenomenon.

Not only are our campers selling like crazy, we are also on the verge of launching our roof top tents for the first time this fall. We will start with limited runs, to ensure this doesn't affect camper production, then ramp up as we continue to increase our productivity with more employees and better processes.

That's not all... we have many accessories in the works that will benefit our camper and roof top tent customers.
Everything we do here at Go Fast Campers is to make our product better, produce it more quickly, come up with more cool stuff and grow sustainably as a company. It's a big challenge, and we're tackling it head on.

Cancel plans? Go buy a tent for 100 bucks at Walmart and enjoy the outdoors! I promise, it works just as well as the GFC :)

Thanks, I've got a tent. The whole plan was to drive to Montana to pick up the GFC and then make a few stops in Washington and Oregon on the way home. It doesn't make a lot of sense to go to Montana if my camper isn't going to be ready to pick up.

I'll probably instead go up the California coast and may do a day in Oregon instead since I already planned the time off with work and arranged a pet sitter.

It's somewhat of a when life hands you lemonade make a margarita situation.

I think growing pains were expected, just not as many. I also don’t think they expected so many orders so quickly  :spending: The two are probably linked.

Someone stopped me yesterday coming back from a camping trip. They had no idea what the gfc was, but thought it looked so cool and had to know what it was. They commented on how well built and that it was like a westfalia camper.

I also added a second cargo net. Obviously for travel only as it blocks in/out of the tent area. When the square panels are at the back and oriented correctly the loops serve as another net anchor point.

Anyone have some interior pictures set up? I really like that the Drifter you can leave the bed set up and still have room to go in and out of bed. On the GFC do you have to take apart the bed everytime you get out when sleeping with two people?

I assume that you only have to remove one of the 2'x2' composite squares, not the whole bed.

Someone posted pictures earlier. I don’t have any, but you only have to remove one square panel to get in or out of the sleeping area. Everything else can stay in place. There is no need to take apart the bed just to get in and out. It is very simple and easy, takes literally 2 seconds to remove a square panel or put it back.

Stopped by a GFC Sunday with @Digiratus and @drr. Sadly, being Sunday, no one was there...
