We were just talking about that here. Semi trailers all registered in ME. Lots of coach busses reg in MA and uhaul have Az plates.

We don't even have any kind of inspections. You either go to the DMV or pay a couple dollar fee to do it over the web

 

Does AZ have the least stringent inspection standards? Always see uhauls broken down because they’re not properly maintained. Had a blowout on one of the inner dually tires on our 26’ truck moving from NH to MA.

To register my Comanche trailer(it matched my TJ) all that was needed was a Vin of my choosing(10-17 digits) and bill of sale. They didn't even need to see it

Here, they have gone as far as using cameras in the inspection bays to monitor inspectors and record pictures of the vehicle.
