Installed a craigslist score thule t2 rack. For anyone looking for a hitch mounted rack, the thule 2t with adjustable trays allows for the tailgate to be all the way down without hitting it when a bike is on the outer tray.

Also, the threaded bolt for the hitch pin is a 12mm x 40mm (or 90mm to get all the way through), 1.75pitch bolt (if you happen to buy a rack that doesn’t include thule’s $60 hitch pin lock setup)

Holy fuck! Bad idea leaving the trailer hitch on all these years, and not taking it off. Needed to take to take it off so I could fit the truck into the shorter garage, because of the wife's new car. Had to spray and beat the shit out of it with a pipe, just to get it out because of the rust.

I put a rockauto R&P in my truck a few months back. No issues so far.

 

The bbb aren't bad I prefer to use mavel at my shop. Least amount of issues.

 

Thanks - I'm up in Canada, and it looks like Rock Auto can ship up here with the least hassles. They have an AC Delco, but it's over $100 more. Worth it to pay the difference? So much appreciate the advice!
