Not an obvious source. Have you checked your oil? Last oil change? Oil weight used?

Sounds like your high pressure fuel pump. I think there was a TSB for some of them chirping

Sounds like your fuel pump. They’re high pressure pumps, i think from what I’ve researched that it’s normal. Mine does it too, almost like a bird chirping noise.

The chirping like that is not normal. You might hear the pump a little with the hood open. but it shouldn’t be high pitched chirping the sound in the video

Yeah... it's your HPFP, but if it sounds like crickets, Toyota should replace it. Many say it will come back though. If
you buy the same brand of gas all of the time, you might consider switching for a while to see if that helps.

Hmm, I might bring this up to my dealer next time I’m in for service then.

It's your HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) like others have said. Clicking is completely normal mechanical sound. Chirping is not. If it's chirping take it to a dealer to have the tech preform and diagnose for the TSB repair. Mine was replaced and no more chirping. Chirping, not clicking. It is that specific.
