I had it in my last tacoma. A little bigger than some of the cheaper ones, but everything digital is really nice. And you can pick the color, and it has a built in SWR meter. Would definitely recommend.

Yeah cheaper is definitely fine. The one I posted for you earlier will be perfect for you. Though have you seen the one where the CB is all built into the mic?

definitely stiffer than the Coopers. I had to air down from 35.. to 20... then to like 13-15 when I took them out to Moab and Colorado. They did chunk like yours did too.. but I already told you about that. They were new as well though, and since then, have broken in some. Like others mentioned, the Coopers to the Falkens with the terrain comparison I dont think is fair. Give them some miles.. they'll start to feel different. I honestly cant tell the difference in sound or ride.. the truck is loud and rough to begin with. So far they grip pretty damn well, but have some different terrain to try them out on still. I like them.. especially for the price point. The true test will be longevity.. as I only got 25kish miles out of the Coopers.

 

What is an SWR meter?

I’m thinking maybe i should get something more fancy than the $30 one you linked, but maybe not that fancy. I don’t even know if i’ll wire this shit right

 

I think it stands for standing wave reading? It basically checks to make sure your radio is all set up properly. If your swr is too high and you try and transmit, you can fry your radio. I have one.

 

So this would definitely be a good option to purchase then

This is the radio I have also have a external speaker if you want it. If I can find my swr meter it’s yours too. I agree with randy on the firestik antenna just make sure it isn’t the ngp one or no ground plane one they kinda suck or atleast I felt mine didn’t work that well but i have one of those to if you know anyone that wants to give it a shot and i also have a mag mount lil wil too.

You’ll be happy with it! I ran that same set up (slightly different radio) and it got the job done. I liked the antenna too. Proportionate yet thin and flexible. Just how I like my women.
