It's just a rock and people have been carving in ones like it for litteraly ever. It's not like he carved obscenities in it. Idk I don't get that bent out of shape over this kind of stuff. Doesn't change the beauty of it from afar. Kind of like Frank... Lol

Go to Independence Rock, that place is covered with graffiti. Yea, most of it was done 150 years ago, but it’s still graffiti. Maybe 150 years from now the stuff that guy scratched into Corona Arch will be studied and protected to.

    Graffiti ruins everything
Who wants to see that Bullshit ? It’s like litter. No comparison to ancient scrawling. I traveled out west from Pa 2 years ago and was surprised and dismayed at the litter and graffiti, especially on aspen trees.
Who gives a shit that JWow loves B Boy ? Who ?
There are historic beautiful places along the Appalachian trail here near me and it’s been totally Fucked by graffiti.
Look up pictures of “Bake Oven Knob”
    Nice place Huh ......

I wasn’t condoning graffiti, quite the contrary. Just think it’s funny that something scratched into the rocks by some dude driving a covered wagon 150 years ago is revered and deserving of protection, while if some dude driving a pickup carves the exact same thing today he’s a scumbag and should be thrown in jail. I just find it funny that most people, including myself, think this way.

Yeah Steve .... I wasn’t referring to your post
But I too feel the same way.
Authentic Butch Cassidy or Billy the Kid graffiti is OK

I think it's cool to see carvings from awhile ago, but with transportation the way it is I don't think it will have the same affect in 100 years. I Love paint graffiti especially when it's art and not just a half assed tag. Only on city walls and rail cars though, not so much on natural formations. Thought it was funny the guy was 45 and not 16 when you usually make those decisions.

Love guys like this. LOL "Only reason selling is I don't have time to fix it and I want to go back to a Manuel." I don't do well with people that can't even spell correctly and basically show their lack of education and seriousness about selling a truck. Fix the damn thing, it's worth way more! Heck, he can probably afford it if he goes and pawns his girlfriend's K-mart engagement ring. We're talking peanuts to just fix it. Haha!

It breaks my rule of thumb by about $3000 so I think I'll pass. Wait until it's on there for a month and see how far he's come down on the price. If he gets in the $2k range, I'll entertain it.

Has potential, like @Member1Zillion said. Needs to come down a bit. Especially if I would travel to get it. Worth calling on anyway to see if he will budge. Thanks

Dad and I just bought this one today. Going to put a little into it to freshen it up and see if we can make a little on it. Pretty clean overall.

That is exactly what I was looking for when I started my approach into CL when I ran across this other one. Always wanted a DC for myself with the dogs etc. Nice find, any problems?

No, just about to turn over 300k. Cleaned the crap out of it. Going to change timing belt, water pump, carrier bearing, belts, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets and flush the coolant. Probably have 600$ into it. Picked it up for $4,800, maybe get 6,500, 7ish. Idk. Maybe more down in Colorado. Nice shape for its age

Nice! Where are you at? They still sell for CO money here in Laramie. Same with Subies.

If you want to start flipping them here, I charge $200 for consignment. I'd give you a break on that, plus transportation to and from here may be difficult. It's a thought though.
