My wife had a 99 Tacoma when we met. Was a super solid rig!

This is a 95 t4r. The link @EatSleepTacos posted talks about a dog as a v6 engine & headgasket issues. May not be the most trustworthy vehicle for what I am looking for

I think if you found a 3rd gen (96-02) you’d be a lot happier! And they can still be had for cheap.

I agree with this. The 3rd gen 4R is my favorite gen (yes i know I drive a 5th gen)

They can be found in good condition for relatively cheap, and they have a massive market as far as parts go. Not to mention they look great.

Today is the first day of college again. My blackboard learning portal went crazy at 4:45am with assignments. The feeling if freedom I had for the last 2 weeks fled my body in 2 seconds :anonymous:

I never had any complaints about my Duratracs while off pavement. It was on asphalt that gave problems (balancing, noise, etc...)

Just checked the new duty schedule and it looks like I'm clear for that weekend. As long as I can get dog sitting I'm totally down.

I have a lot of maintenance to do before then, but hopefully these next two weeks will be light enough for me to get it all done.

Good point with the doge. I will likely just make it a day trip then since my wife isn't home to watch Tony bologna. He hates wheeling because he just gets thrown around in the back seat and I feel bad about it.

It's just less stressful for everyone not having the dog. Everyone as in not stressful for myself or Tony. It's just much easier and safer to leave him at home. The good thing is that AOAA trails don't open until 9am, so there's no need to wake up extra early to get a full day in.

They're less rocky, but tighter trails from the trees. A little more stock friendly IMO. And cheaper at $35 a day.

So I shouldn't bother fixing my trail rash?

Like on your armor? Most definitely not. I only bother doing that once or twice a year.
