Evening kids, another long, hot Monday is in the books. Packing up the truck for a week long trip camping, fun but a lot of work. A trip up north, it could get cold at nite:bananadance:. Should be fun , going as far north as you can in Michigan.

The post leg day combo platter. Just needs a little Himalayan salt and a hot grill.

Flank and coulotte from MoinkBox.com. We've been very happy with their service and products. The Mrs. wants to cancel Butcher Box now; I was ok with their stuff, but Moink has been really delivering some quality animal flesh.

I used to cook on salt slab. It didn’t last long and it had to be hot as hell

Got nothing done today except a load of laundry that wasn't even mine. Got stood up by another tile guy. But I did get in a rare steak with shrooms and onions. Still getting use to the new tv.
    Tomorrow it's back to Quartzsite.

I'm watching Skyfall...almost puked when he grabbed ahold underneath the elevator and they showed the view to the top of the building.

Both...I don't drive many bridges or go in high rises, but airplanes and helicopters don't bother me.

No. Just daytime recon or point to point. Nothing crazy. Blackhawk/Pavehawk, Chinooks and a few old Hueys back in the 80's.

Success. 4 minutes per side on the propane Char Broil, and all I needed was our go-to cheap red wine (yellowtail BBR) to achieve a very satisfying repast.

Again, kudos to Moinkbox.com for the delectable cow flesh.

Getting a little interesting in the central Pacific ,Tropical Storm Meriam getting closer to Hawaii . If the Trades influence Meriam it can or could head towards the islands

Also now (2) more storms that are forecasted to turn into a tropical depression tracking the same path as Meriam

All this activity heading or near the islands and my brother won't be there as he'll be visiting me next week

    https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php?basin=epac&fdays=5

Here's KHON2 weather anchor talking about those (3) tropical depressions Meriam , Norman (red tracking box) and Olivia (Green tracking box )

Right now they're saying as long as Meriam behaves and moves as forecasted shouldn't be a threat to the islands . Norman is the one they're concerned about as by Sept 3rd it should be tracking towards the islands . Olivia looks to fall apart quickly

I've never been up that far. A few years ago we rented a cabin on the Lake near Ontonagon.

they've sprayed outside , the garage and inside my place twice and looks like they'll be spraying again by end of a week

Don't need my brother getting bitten when he visits next week and also worried about my Cats

Just been working way too much between the job and house like most of us. Saw you got a some time at the villa. Hope you had fun and got to relax a bit.

Wow, as long as I was gone and your still playing around with a hole for a yard. I hope the stress from that has been bearable.

 I’m at a loss with the last bit of this post. He looks as crazy as ever. :boink:

Skipped 3 pages. Finally got around to redoing the back porch. Got all the old trex deck up with a heavy assist from the sawzall thanks to my inexperienced use of the wrong type screws ... that was the first time/place I used trex deck. Hoping forecast is right and we get a couple dry days for the cantilevered deck joists to dry out so I can seal them before putting the new deck boards down.
Kristi was a trooper helping me haul off the old decking. Kind of fun working on it together.
