What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I'm leaning toward Jurassic Park because the design just looks so much better against the Magnetic Gray, but I mocked up the Jurassic World since my truck is modern and would fit well within the Mercedes gray and blue scheme in the new movies. There were no Tacomas in the original movies so I've got free rein to design what I believe would fit well in that universe. It would be a JP/JW tribute, and not really a movie replica. That's why I've put the "Maintenance badging under the JW/JP emblems and made up a new vehicle number. I also plan to design a change link cage to fit on the bed, and I'm going to get a full size dinosaur to put in the cage, with warning signs on the outside to keep fingers away.

Nice and stealthy, you could paint the recessed letters grey, it looks all blacked out from a distance.

 

Not to junk up the thread with jeeps but in keeping with the Jurassic park talk...I always see this guy parked at a local pet store.

 

What lift are you running?

 

The letters are actually color matched to my truck, MGM. From that angle it looks black but in direct light you can see the difference.

 

Got these today. Got them loaded up. Getting put on tomm evening.

I’ve noticed that the MGM looks way different from different angles. Depending on the light it can be close to black or as light as cement. A lot of the metallic paints on the third gens Have that effect.

So you can replace the speakers in the premium JBL system even if they are 4 ohms and not 2 ohms like the factory speakers? How does the subwoofer interface with the Kickers? Does Crutchfield provide a harness for the premium system?

 

I was referencing the entune premium and not the entune with jbl. They are more component type speakers on the jbl.

Got the @CaliRaisedLed molle fitted. Had to take a bit off my @RelentlessFab bed bars to get the bed rail tab to fit. Getting close to having OBA.
